Beginners Course

If you would like to try archery or wish to join our club we regularly run beginners courses. For safety reasons we ask that all prospective members complete the beginners course first.If you have previous experience you can always contact us and one of our coaches can assess whether you would need to sit the course.

During the course you will learn how to shoot, understand all about the required safety aspects of shooting and also gain knowledge on archery equipment.

Although the club is currently closed due to Covid-19 restrictions you can still contact us to join the waiting list for the next course. Our courses are fun and friendly and last for 3 weeks with a maximum of 6 participants on a course. The cost of a course is currently £40 for the basic course.Or £60 including quiver, and Archery for Beginners guidebook

There is no need to purchase any equipment, prior to the course, and if after the beginner course you decide to join, you can use the club equipment until you feel ready to purchase your own.

The next course dates will be posted as soon as we can after we get back to shooting again. The coach will be Jeff Watson assisted by Perth coach Allan Winter.
